FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- For the first time this season rookie wide receiver/punt returner Harry Douglas is in the running for a weekly award on NFL.com.
Douglas returned a punt for a touchdown and scored on a 7-yard rush in Sunday's victory over the Carolina Panthers. That performance got him a nomination for NFL Diet Pepsi Rookie of the Week honors.
Douglas totaled 188 yards from scrimmage and led the Falcons in receiving yards with four catches for 92 yards, including a 69-yard reception. Douglas returned a punt 61 yards for a touchdown to seal the Falcons' win.

But Douglas isn't the only Falcon fans can vote for this week.
Running back Michael Turner tied a team record with four rushing touchdowns against the Panthers and, thus, got on the ballot for FedEx Ground Player of the Week . Turner rushed for 117 yards on 24 carries in the win.
