His 20.5 sacks rank fourth in school history and his 11.5 quarterback takedowns in 2008 placed him third on the school’s single-season record list.

Was only the seventh player in school history to be invited to play in the Senior Bowl.

Set the NCAA record for the most sacks in a playoff game against Montana in the 2008 FCS title game.

2008 Season
Earned All-America Dream Team honors from The NFL Draft Report.

Added All-CAA honors from the leagues coaches and media and was also named College Sporting News’ Playoff Most Valuable Player.

Helped Richmond earn the school’s first NCAA Championship in any sport on its way to a school record 13-3 mark.

Started all 16 games at left defensive end and recorded a career-high 56 tackles (26 solo) while leading the Spiders with 11.5 sacks and 20 tackles for loss.

Had at least one sack in eight games and at least one tackle behind the line of scrimmage in 13 contests.

2007 Season
Earned All-CAA first-team honors, in addition to being named to the all-state team by the Virginia Sports Information Directors Association.

Started all 13 games at left defensive end, recording 48 tackles (22 solo) and ranked second on the team with 5.0 sacks, 8.5 tackles for loss and one fumble recovery.

2006 Season
Played in nine games and finished the campaign with 17 tackles (11 solo) that included a five-yard sack and 5.5 stops for a loss of 18 yards.

2005 Season
Played in 13 games at left defensive end.

Recorded 24 tackles (12 solo) with three sacks and four tackles for loss.

Recovered a blocked punt for a four-yard return against Hampton.

2004 Season
Suited up for the season opener against North Carolina State before receiving a red-shirt status.

Personal
Attended Oxon Hill High School and earned all-state, all-metro, all-county and all-league honoros as a senior.

Served as a team captain in his final two seasons.

A member of the Washington, D.C. Golden 11 team and played in the Prince Georges County All-Star Game.

Received academic accolades and was an Honor Roll student as part of the Science Tech program.

Earned a B.S. in computer science.
