DeJuan Polk

DeJuan Polk will enter the 2009 campaign as a Pro Scout for the Falcons in his second stint in that role. He is responsible for scouting all professional leagues, including 15 NFL teams and advance scouting. Last year, Polk served as a College Scout covering the Midwest Region and conferences such as the Big Ten and MAC. Polk started his tenure with the Falcons in 2006 as a Pro Personnel Assistant. He was responsible for assisting the personnel department, coordinating free agent workouts, maintaining the “short-list” and advance scouting of future opponents. The following season, Polk was promoted to Pro Scout for the Falcons and kept the same duties. In 2005, Polk served as the Defensive Tackles Coach at South Carolina State. Polk was a four-year letterman at defensive tackle for Clemson University during his collegiate campaign from 1999-2003.
